I am looking for some informaton on how to create an on-line configurator. Can anybody tell me were I can get a good start. I'm faily proficient with Pro-Program.
I want to be able to have outside companies log on to our website and then begin to configure their own cable systems for the automotive industry. We have standard components that we want people to use to do this. Do you have any suggestions.
Combination of JSP and J-link can be suitable. That means, you have to start to learn Java, after that J-Link to controll ProE and maybe JSP (Java Server Pages) as well if you need more complex web pages.
The problem with Java is that most of the time, the course gets canceled because not a lot of people want to learn the language. Have you ever thought about webex.
Can you tell me a little about webex. I'm a little familiar with Java. I have taken a few classes in the language as well as I'm quite literate with Pro-Program which is kinda the same language as Java.
We use webex with our other company in Itaily and with tech support. It'sallows another person(s) to see your screen by goint to a website and entering a meeting number (They don't have to have pro). They can also controll your monitor if you want to allow them. It cost $50 per month, or you can pay per usage.
