I have an assembly created in ProE WF4 that gives me several status error messages in the prompt window every time I open it or regenerate any component in it. The model looks and behaves fine, and the messages seem to be informational only, but as a fairly new ProE user, I would like to understand what is going on. Here are the messages I see:
<ul>[*]Line 5 part IDI_100895-000_THERMO_PROBE: Model changed since mass props calculated. May need to recalculate.[*]The connection "C65(1528A24):Connection_2" will be suppressed because of invalid constraint(s).[*]The connection "C65(1528A24):Connection_2" will be suppressed because of invalid constraint(s).[*]Part '01-TFA-6656750-01' not changed since last regen.[/list]
IDI_100895-000_THERMO_PROBE is a part in the assembly. I am not using mass properties for this model, and had never calculated mass props before I started seeing this. After calculating mass props (leaving everything at defaults) for both this part and the whole assembly, I still get this message.
1528A24.asm is a hinge that is used twice in the assembly. It is assembled using a pin constraint, and placed in the assembly using mate, insert, and align constraints. I have checked all these and cannot find anything invalid. I even deleted and re-created some of the constraints and still get the error messages.
01-TFA-6656750-01 is a random part in assembly. It is one of several dozen parts that don't change between regens, but the only one that this message appears for.
Everything is working and displaying fine, so if these messages never go away, it won't be a major problem. But as I said, I would like to better understand what is going on and make sure I am using best practices in creating my models. I would appreciate any insights.
