conic sketch?

Good morning,<?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" />
Have an issue with pasting a conic based sketch into a model

for any sketch atleast there are location references to be present to locate the sketch in space.provide two references (planes in 2-direction or other geometry).
go to sketch>reference>select references.

Then u should be able to paste sketch

still getting this error, not understanding why I am getting this... It works sometimes and sometimes it does not?

The conics are tangent to each other and constrained? missing something... any advice on why it works sometime and other times it does not.

Why is Pro asking to manually constrain tangency; ifPro can do it sometimes but other times it cannot (the crux of my error I believe).

Confused and spending time in pain trying to understand the error of my methods

Which program is the original sketch created in? Wierd thing I get is that, if I create a sketch in AutoCAD and then insert into pro-e, it fails if the original sketch ( in AutoCAD ) is still open. Close the cad drawing and pro-e likes it.

The sketch is native to Pro, it is my belief the issue is in the method used in constraining the sketch.
Unsure

first - I heavily argue you to check and read all post on this forum of
Jeff4136 related to conic arcs. Use search option to perform.

Second - it would be best if you make a picture of section with arc and
its references. Message box helps to to know a little more about your
problem but not enough.

Third - I rarely ever control tangency of conic arc by tangent
constraint. Instead I use line converted to construction geoemtry and
then make and 180 deg angle. It is more reliable

First, thank you for taking the time to read and graciously respond to my question.
I am new to this functionality and in frustration was pondering the error in my way
