Hello. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
Scenario: The holder (blue color) is fixed in all DOF on its ear. A force is applied on the Shaft (yellow color). There are no clearance or interference between the shaft and the holder - their surfaces are mated and the diameters are equal. They also have different materials. Please note that both parts are not welded. The Shaft could be assembled or disassembled on the holder. Determine the stress on the holder caused by the applied force on the shaft.
I was told to simulate this setup using contact region. Reading from the previous post, I believe contact region simulation could not be applied on this setup. Am I correct or not?
