converting a driven dim to text

Good afternoon


I'm drawing a 2D wire harness in drawing mode. Is there a way I can create a dimension an thanedit the value to the dimension I need for the drawing. The wire harness is not drawn to scale it's just hand sketched.

In the properties box of an added dimension type @O and then the text or dimesion value.
