Can anyone help me out in importing co-ordinates.I have around 2000 coordinates that i have to create in my model, is there any method that i can import all coordinates values which i can enter somewhere in Xl sheet or txt file and import all at a time.

i never did this, but there is an option to get coordinates from file. and it ask for .trf file.

i think you can try renaming the .txt file to .trf file.

the option to import is under >coordinate system>offset type > from file.

please let me know if it works

I have done something similar... try saving the points in a .pts format with 3 columns for x y z. You could easily copy the excel sheet into a .txt file then change the extension manually to .pts then go to ProE

Insert> Model Datum> Point> Offset Coordinate System...

it will prompt you for a coordinate system first so click on the appropriate coordinate system, then hit Import and find your .pts file
