Copy orientation to another model?

I'm not sure if this is the correct place for this question, but I'll go ahead and ask anyway. I'm trying to create installation drawings of a couple of similar assemblies. I want to create a view to show how to install a few of the parts in the assembly, but I would like to keep the views identical between the drawings.

One of the models was created by making a copy of the other model so they have most of the same view orientations saved in them. What I want to do is create a new orientation in the first model and then copy that orientation into the other model, but I don't see a way to do this.

Does anyone know how to copy view orientations from one model to another?

record a mapkey setting the view in the first model using

View orient>Dynamic orient......plug in the numbers for H V C and ;

name and save...ok

save mapkey.. run in other models

play with it first before making the mapkey, start froma common view , play around with thevalues but watch the numbers as theyre-zero when you goto the next axis, you have to keep track

go back to your start view ...plug in your numbers..if you get what your looking for then start overand record the mapkey

one way
