Copying drawing entities between formats

Hello people... I have two questions, of which this is the first one:

How on earth do you copy drawing entities between two formats? I have a format for A3 page sizes with a title box containing several drawing entities (Lines, tables, notes, etc.). I want to create other formats using exactly the same title box, but there's no "copy" between two formats as far as I can tell. I have tried creating symbols, but it doesn't work too well...

So, to the Gurus out there: How do you do that??? :D

Thanks,

JR

u can use the copy and paste between formats.

just select the entities u wish to be copied (formatA), ctrl + c

go to the new format (formatB), ctrl > v

the system will ask you for the 'base point', click the desire base point in formatA and place into formatb by refering to the selected base ponit

:D as obvious as it is, there was something going on that prevented me from pasting into the second form... My apologies

Looslib: Your method is quite elegant, but...If you just drag the limits of the page, the tag would not be updated... would that create problems downstream (i.e. when printing)?

Thanks!
