Corrugated tubing on a bend

Any input as to the best method to model flexible corrugated tubing on a bend?

In order to get an easily editable model as far as minimum bends & alternate positions?

You can of course, do this as a revolve around a datum curve, but that creates editability problems.

It generally means that you are not really addressing the convolutions around a bend to be sure it is a viable design.

Any input?
