COS curve in style feature

ihave a problem in WF4 when trying to create a Curve-On-Surface on a surface in the Style deature. It works fine on solide geometry, but not on surfaces. I don't recall this ever being a problem in previous versions.


Has anyone else come across this also?

actually, after a further effort, it seems to be something to do with COS on a VSS surface.


i converted the problem surface to a solid and have the same problem. the surface is a variable section sweep, using a conic curve as the section.

You could also make a copy of the surface from the solid.

I have already had a problem with COS and FREE option in STYLE (WF4.0).As you know in FREE mode if with use SHIFT before clickthe mouse left button,the point automaticlly will be put on the surface ( if you have a surface) , Now if we want to connect this point to another point (which we interest to be on the other surface) what shall we do?


I try it sometime but I couldn't. would you please let me know ...

Right click and select Lock to Point
