COSMOSXpress in assembly

Hello everyone,

im working on an assembly with alluminium parts, however I was asked to visualize stress or deformationon a particular part in the assembly when a screw is tightened.

I will try to explain the situation.

There is a aluminium bottom plate wich a threaded hole in it.

On top another aluminium part (part X) with a hole in it.

Then a screw goes trhough the parts hole into the threaded hole in the bottom plate to secure part X.

WhatI want is to know what the inflouence is, of the screw being tightened onto part X. In other words how will part X deform when de screw is tightened and how can I show this in COSMOSXpress in SolidWorks.

I aldreadyadded the physical simulations with all the contacts and 1 liniear motor to push the screw and one rotary motor to rotate the screw.

But when I try to get motion loads i get an error message saying:

''Error(s) occurred in importing loads due to following reason(s):A failure occurred in reading information from physical simulation.''

How do I get motion loads properly loaded?

I think its a tough question butI hope someone can help me on this one.

Thnx in advance!

yours Solidly ,

Norman
