create new part from selection?

Hello all,

Is there a quick way to select a feature from a part and
create a new part from it? I am new to SW, coming from
Acad. Pretty simple in Acad > cut...copy...new...paste
Am I missing something in SW?
Thanks to you all from a true newbie.

I found it guys...It might not be the most efficient way
(or correct) but it worked.
