Creating a solid referencing a surface

I need a little help. I need to create a solid part using a surface (created from an iges files) provided to me, as reference.

I'm still working on 2001i (with no chance of grading.)

Basically, I want to add mass to one side of the solid.

Thanks in advance.

well if it's all enclosed then right click the import feature in the model tree

redefine>attributes>Make Solid

if it's open, like a sheet of paper you will have to close it all up, so that it can be a solid.....then join it up to a quilt and then

feature > protrusion > use quilt

a image would help

That's nasty.
There probably isn't going to be ~an~ answer.
If it's a commercial endeavor you should seek
professional help with it.

Is it NURBS or facets? Can you share the IGES?

Hi,

Couldyou try toextrude the edge perpendicular to a plane, and merge it? In sketcher, you could try using the edge.
