I am having a problem creating axis (ina drawing)to dimension to on a cross section of a revolved circular shape. If anybody has any insight on this please let me know. Thanks in advance
If the feature is a "revolve", then it should have an axis with it. If it is not, then create the axis while in "part" mode. Then show the axis by selecting on the top tool bar, View, Show and Erase. In the "Show / Erase" dialog box, select AXIS, by feature. Now pick the axis you just created from the model tree.
I aleady have the reveolution axis, it shows up fine. What I need is to put axeson the radii of the revolutioncircled in blueon the file above. these are radii within the sketch of the revolved feature. I hope I've explaind it better this time. sorry!
