hi everyone, i'm having some problems with creating a surface in styles. as i select the boundary chains it comes up with a message saying "not all curves are connected. known curve intersections are shown. at first i assumed that the little yellow circles on some intersections were showingthe problem but the location of these changes for every attempt i make. i have gone through and made sure thatthe curvesare allsnapped toeach other at the ends. does anyone know what's wrong? Hey there,

Judging from the picture you have 5 boundary curves selected. The maximum is 4. Depending on the form you want to create you will have to split it up. I tried to recreate it :

1: intermediate surface

2: created another curve surf tangent or curvature to surface upto LH lower corner

3: Created a cos on this surface so you again have 4 boundaries

Note this is not modelled with surface quality in mind, and without knowing the design intend, so I could have it all wrong ...

Thanks for taking the time to help me out Nick, such a simple answer tells me i definitly need more practice in styles. i'm working on altering your method to try to get the surfaces to match up a bit better but i'm getting there. By the way, the object is a clothes iron design i'm working on for uni. Thanks agian,
