CREO configurator

I check available videos, Deelip blog, Developded 3D and others and what I can say is...

a little bit too late, a little bit too quite, still not clear enough, but... at least they do something.

I will miss Pro/Engineer, I got used to it. sh*t 9 year of experience to the trash, and 0 in Creo.

Again starting form scratch...

Dear Jacek,

Creo is the set of applications. Not a different one created through scratch.

Creo will be having 3D Parametric Modeling (Pro/E) along with Direct modeling and

other stuffs added. Definitely you will find all the Pro/E functionalities in

Creo elements/Pro. Your 9 years strong experience will definitely help you in modeling more faster & easier through direct modeling injected in Creo Pro/E.

Please look at the webcast carefully. You will not be disppointed.

yea I was just kinda joking about circumstances related to changed name of app.

I am aware PTC would not introduce any major changes into interface to not push big fishes with +300 seats to train their engineer again. I know this pain, because for two years I was responsible for this stuff.

solidworm...

Boy oh boy, did you ever get that one right !
Still no menu mapper for WF 5.0 (that's a damn shame).

Is Creo the new name for the license file?
Our ProE provider is giving us quotes on new licenses and now everything is saying Creo?
What is Creo????

TC introduced a new umbrella product named Creo. I includes Pro/E (now Creo Elements/Pro), CoCreate (Creo Elements/Direct) and Product View (Creo Elements/View) and will ultimately encompass Windchill and other modules and options, I think. (So, will MathCAD be Creo Elements/Math?)

Your VAR needs to do a better job. To send out a quote with the new name and make no effort to explain it is silly.

Thanks for the info Doug.

I asked our provider for more info on it and he said he will give it to me as soon as he gets it....

Being a Mathcad user, I really hope that they give its interface a revamp. Not being able to customize toolbars or retain their position after a restart is so bad :(

Is mathcad 14 the newest or is there are beter version?

Mathcad 15 is the latest version, but I'm still using Mathcad 13 because newer "single user" licenses don't support terminal access to a server :/
