cross-section arrows in two parent views

Is it possible to show cross-section arrows of a section view in two views? Typically in our drawings there will be a 'Plan of Die' view and a 'Plan of Punch' view and a cross-section going thro' the die. For this cross-section, it'd be nice if we can show the arrows in both the Plan of die and punch. Currently we are showing it only in the Plan of Die.

Any suggestions please.

Thanks.

Typical requirement for tool designers, PTC has to look into it.

Here is the work around I use:

Create another general section view of the same section and show arrows in "Plan of the Punch" and later erase the section view. (You may create it outside the drawing format to avoid the clutter in the drawing.)

You will be prompted with "Erase all arrows and circles associated with view <XXXX> ?.

Accept default option "No".

Hope this helps !!!

Hi Ravi,
Thanks for the reply. Well, I created another general section view, showed the arrows on the Punch view - that was alright. But when I tried to erase the new view, all I got on the right click menu was 'Delete' and no 'Erase'. Deleting the view automatically deletes the arrows also, without any prompts. I don't know where I am making a mistake.
Ofcourse I can still keep the new view in a different sheet and have the arrows, but I am just curious to know how to erase it.

Btw, I am using WF 2.0, M110.

Thanks,
Anand.

I am using 2001, but I am sure you will have a equivalent command/menu pickin WF to erase a view.

In WF2 it is View/Drawing Display/Drawing View Visibility. You can erase the section view and keep the arrows.
