Cross-section display

Hi Pro/E experts out there,

Is it possible to de-highlight the yellow coloured edge display taht we get from a cross section in Wildfire

Im not sure if there is a way or not.

But you could just solidify the right datum plane, to get a "cross section" for a short period of time. Then you could suppress and resume that solidify feature to "activate" that "cross section". It wouldnt have yellow lines outlining the section.

Deactivate cross-section visibility. #View Manager, #X-Section, [select view], deactivate view visibility.

Activating / deactivating the view visibility doesnt remove the external yellow lines. It only removes the hatching.

What I do when I do not want to see the yellow is go up to the menu bar and select View>Shade. That will turn off everything until you select Repaint. So you can have planes on and they will dissappear leaving you with just a shaded model.
