I have a solid drawn up in solid works. How do I take a plane that I placed that goes through the solid and view on my screen only the part of the solid that passes through the given plane.
First, INSERT -> REFERENCE GEOMETRY -> PLAN. There are many ways to define a plan so maybe is necessary to sketch some geometry in order to applay this function. After you define the plan, select it and click SECTION VIEW button (VIEW toolbar).
Note: If you use, for section,a plan parallel with default SW's planes (TOP, FRONT, RIGHT) is not necessary to define auxiliari geometrie. Click dhe SECTION VIEW button and I think you understand what I say.
