Quick question: How would I create a 2-d curve of the equation
y=cos(x) with the x values from 0 to 1? I basically just want a
curve say on the front datum plane starting at the origin. Thanks,
Might be a better way to do this but I once need a surface with a parabola shape. I did the function in MS Excel and then put the discreet points and made datum curve thru points. Then simply revolved it and it worked. Might be easier way though.
PTC Express, October 2006, contained an article called "How to Create a Curve by Equation in Pro/Engineer", which gives a simple explanation, and examples, for this. If you can't find the article, I saved it as a PDF.
