Cutout Cavity

I have an assembly of different molded parts that make up a device. I would like to set the device partially into a rectangular base and form a cavity. What is the best way to go about doing this?

The best way is to use the Pro-mold Module. Assuming you might not have this, the next best way is too create a assembly and then copy surfaces from the part and use solidify to create the cut for the cavity.<?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comfficeffice" />
