Datum plane

How can i change the size of the defalut datum palnes.Can we change the size similar to catia?

Every time surface boundary of an model increases the plane size also increases.can we control it.

please help me

you can redefine the the attributes of the datum plane to fit part,feature,surface,edge,axis or radius

yes, you can redefine the display item of the datum plane .

For "default" planes (no feature to reference for size), especially:

RMB, Edit Definition.
Click on the Display tab.
Check Adjust Outline.
Enter a Height & Width value.

You can also drag the handles that become visible. Note the Lock Aspect Ratio box, too.

You'll find (I think) that assy default planes will drift around, though the size remains constant. Using the drag handles will prevent this from happening (or, so it seems).
