How do you position a datum point on the surface of a curve?

I have a hollow tube and want a datum point at a specific location on the outter surface of the tube.

Cheers

Hi Vesh,

If you want points on a curve then click on the point optiona and place the point using offset ratio.you can then pattern it based on the offset ratio dimension

LOL...sh*t! It still makes sense to me...!?

....anyways...

In a practical test I put a strain gauge on a steel circular section member, and now I would like to place a datum point at the exact location where the strain gauge was.

Hope that makes some sense now?

Will try that info tonight Deepak, cheers
