Before today,I've never used the def_layer option. Now, apparently i'm not doing something right because the layers are not"auto-sorting" Edited by: jelston
From what I have found using this option, it allows you to group items of a certain type on a layer. It only works when you create a feature of that type and not on features that already exist in the model. When you create a feature it will create the layer and automatically add the feature to it. I'm assuming that is what you are refering to as "auto-sorting"?
we can convert default layers as rule based by using layer properties>(rule tab)>convert to rules>edit rule>ok>associative (on rule tab options button)
this will include all features created earlier, but when we convert them back as default layers(remove rule) all included features will disappear. can some body tell how to solve this.
I have triedremoving ruleswith config setup in which default layer definition is not set. any other way???
