Defining the assembly

sabinindian

New member
Hi I am new to pro\e .I have a problem regarding pro\e motion simulation

The problem is that, I have 2 rectangular solids and want to assemble it such a way that 2 particular surfaces of the solids never cross, but there should be motion in the plane perpendicular to the surfaces (Only constraint is that the 2 surfaces should not cross each other). Just like how a real block behaves in a surface. Is there any way to define such assembly?

Please help anybody........

Hi maudip
I tried to add picture using the add image option. The picture is showing in message writing box, but when I press the Press the 'Post Reply' button it does'nt come there ( as seen above ) . Can u help me out of this.

its very simple just give a planner connection between two surfaces and then select translation axis to to limit the movement of a particular direction for te surfaces select references and set ur limit.. thats all.
