Deselecting Components After Color Change

verge

New member
This one is just annoying. Every time I change the color of a component in an assembly, the component stays highlighted until I monkey around for five minutes to fix it. Sometimes I can't deselect it no matter what I try.

Anyone else run into this? I must be missing something simple. Sometimes selecting the part again, then clicking off in space will work. Sometimes regenerating the assembly works. Sometimes nothing works.

Verge,

All I usually have to do is click anywhere on the backround (not on a part) and then hit redraw icon

If I lived in the UK I'd buy you a pint for that one! Saved me who knows how much time clicking around.

I'd buy me a pint if I wasn't stuck here with an annoying design problem that wouldn't go away and stop bugging the hell outta me

Well, it's Friday anyway. Must be after 6:00 there by now. I think you should be having a pint right about now. Just pretend I bought it.

Verge,

I've had enough, time to go collect my kid from cricket, drive home, sit on the sofa, maybe watch a film, have that beer, a nice meal and a chat with the wife

Later
