Design table referring to Excel 2003

I have Office 2007 installed so SW design tables reference this.

What I want is for them to reference office 2003 - which I also have (as it's a more common format).

I also want it to do it automatically when I click auto-create for a design table, rather than separately creating a 2003 file, then linking to it (time consuming).

Can anyone help out?
