Detail View Annotation

Has anybody encountered this problem. In drawing mode I created a detailed view and when I went to move the Detail Annotation with the arrow it just disappeared along with the detailed view & scale annotation.

At first I though I erased it by accident or it may have been is some hidden layer but that's not the case. I saved, erased memory and brought it up again to no avail. I try to go to properties but see no option related to that.

Any help would be welcome.

Try zooming out.

If your detail is at high magnification, sometimes a dim will move to
the default location on the model when you switch it to the detail
view. I have had dims show up attached to phantom geometry some
3-4 paper widths off paperspace.

Although I'm somewhat of a shown dim zealot, this issue has had me using created dims more and more often.

oh, by the way... if you are trying to retrieve the dim... you can try
opening the model, editing the feature, and highlighting the dim in
question. Get the dim number (d###).

Then go back to the dwg and EDIT>FIND that dim #. Pro will
highlight the dim, perhaps making it easier to find. Even if you
can not visually locate it, once you select it through the find tool,
you can RMB erase it and re-show it in a non-detail view.
