Hello everyone, I apologise if posting at the wrong section.
I have SolidWorks 2012 and I have just assembled a crankshaft + connecting rod. When I order SW to calculate the mass center of the assembly it gives me coordinates(x,y,z) in milimeters. It shows me the mass center as a crosspoint of lx,ly,lz axis on the screen. I want to know exactly how close is the cener of mass to the crankshaft rotation axis. Is there any way I can determine this? And also what is the reference point of the mass center coordinates? Any help would be greatfully appreciated. Thank you.
