I am putting together a die cast part design workshop and could take some critique from the group here. I am working thru the wording.. discussions... and what might be gained from the workshop.Any suggestions would be helpful for me selling it and thanks in advance. Ill work on it more tonight.

Although this link is live it is still a rough draft in my eyes. I have only administered parts of this class before and my first die cast part design workshop will be administered next month in conjunction with a two day plastics class.I figure out of a typical two day die cast part design class with a 6 hrs lecture, a total of 10 hrs of Pro/E focused on draft, split draft, basic surfacing tricks all with a specific focus on modeling technique.

Anyone with extensive die cast experience? I might get them a guest speakers spot in the future.

Tomorrow I will work on a workshop for forging.

Courses look great. I would deffinatly be interested in the die-cast course if we didnt have an ocean between us. These courses should generate a lot of interest, theres plenty of course content.

Keep us posted on how you get on with them.

I haven't had any involvement in diecasting but the course looks excellent.

Have you any plans to open a design engine in the UK?

Big oceans suck!!!

we had a sorta office in London but the guys who ran it met so many contacts from the design engine relationship they moved off to India to design scooters...

Bart,
how about an office here in iran or middle east? there are lots of talented and experienced engineers on any CAD or Engineering application here who can help you broaden the reach of your educational firm.
i read in your website that you have an office in dubai. is it active? do you get many students there?

we need a regime change here too ;)

We have access to an office in Dubai.A partner with a Pakistani electrical engineer who by the way developed the GPS systems for the NSA in the 80's...he has a permanent office in Dubai and he has given us free reign to his office.I like hot weather and there is a race track there too!
