I am trying to figure out a way to insert points into a
3d sketch. I have all the XYZ data of the points, just
need to know how to insert each one as a point. I have
been trying scanto3d but haven't had much luck with the
meshing. I am new to all of this and was wondering what
other people are doing. The only software I have access
to is solidworks with the scanto3d addin. I have a
microscribe digitizer and am new to the whole deal. Any
help would be greatly appreciated. Right now I am just
trying to get familiar with how everything works. I
have made a point cloud, opened it, converted to mesh,
which comes out looking terrible, and then a surface
that is garbage. I am a total noob. Thanks a lot.
