dimensioning an ellipse

New member
I created an ellipse in a drawing but can't figure how to redimension it. Any help appreciated.

Also what is the easiest way to draw the ellipse along horizontal and vertical axes in drawing mode?

thx!

in drawing mode,

click on the feature. and then "insert dimensions"

otherwise u can simply click on the "show/erase" icon looks like a flash light.

and show all dimensions.

Thanks puppet. This is working fine for a part taken into a drawing, but not for an ellipse built within a drawing. For a circle built in a drawing, "edit diameter value" appears in the popup menu but there is no such thing for an ellipse...

Hi, Refer to Jpeg below. just after you click the center of Ellipse, Right click for relative and absolute coordinates which can control the dimensions of a sketched ellipse.

ISuggest, avoid sketched entities in drawing as modifying will be difficult in future.

Best of Luck,

SPK.
