dimensioning in partial views

When the partial view is created, one could create dimensions only for the geometry of the view. But I want to create dimensions that mirror across the centerline. Is this possible? To clarify, I have large flange and want to show only partial view of it. I would like to create diameter dimensionsof the flange (that stretche across the flange centreline). One way todo that is to temporarly create full view, create dimensions and then switch back to thepartial view. But is there an option like in Sketcher where you pick geometry (e.g. outer edge of the flange), then centreline and again outer edge and creatediameter dimension.

My go-around for the required dimensions is to include them in the original sketch and when creating views on the drawing I show them in a full view then use their properties to move themto the partial view. Diameter dimensions will show in the partial view with a double arrow on the side not represented in the partial view.
