Dimentions in unfold view

Hi, i have a problem in drafting. In unfolded section view, show and erase dimentions are not alining to the drawing entities. if i move that dimention to the other view its working. what could be the problem. now i am using WF2. Can anybody reply the solution. thanks in advance.

Show/erase dimensions are the parameters you used to model the part and as such are positioned where the features are. When you are in flattened state most of these dimensions don't even make sense.


Company standard here call for coordinate dimensioning of flat patterns, personally I even do not dimension (or purely informative, like overall dimensions) and create a DXF as input for the laser.

thats ok. but i have to use unfold view in this case. i used previously this in WF2. this time i could't.

define a datum co-ordinate at the corner (say left hand corner)


insert auto co-ordinate. most importantly follow the prompt at the bottom of the screen. I am using WF2
