i carried over my config.pro from wildfire 3.0 to 4.0. it's rare that i create notes in the model but i am trying to now and they will not appear on screen.
layers are all unhidden.
what happened to the 3d note check box in the environment menu?
There is an icon todisplay 3d notes and annotations on the datum display toolbar. You may also need to check that the notes aren't hidden in the model tree.
Also try checking your config.pro. The option model_note_display is no longer a valid option. You should be careful when copying setup files for use with a new version.
Can you post the file or a simplified file that does what you are talking about? Just telling someone you have done something and tried everything doesn't mean much when the person can't see what you've done or tried. I have had the same issue and don't know how many times people have told me they tried something and then find they missed something. Anyway good luck finding a solution.
Did you also check your config.pro for the model_note_display option? Even though it's not listed as a supported option I tried it and it is still an active option even in WF5. The option activatesor deactivates the 3D Note Display (selects the icon) so my guess is your config filemay havethe option set toNO and was caried over. You may want to just remove it so you don't even have to worry about the 3D Notes Display icon. But it does allow you to turn off just notes and keep other annotations displayed which may be useful to you.
