display mm dim in imperial drw

We use imperial dimensions for the vast majority of our modelling. However on some ocassions we use metric especially when using holes or revolve cuts. On the drawing, I know that I can overwrite an added dimension using the @O command in dim text but that is only for nominal dims. Is there anyway to add upper and lower limits or +/- values as metric values in an added dim or a way of overwriting driven dims, or is it simply a case of using text note for the tolerance values.

Thanks, Stu

Have you tried dual dimensioning?

Modify these in your drawing setup:
dual_dimensioning (Multiple options to try)
dual_secondary_units mm

Thanks for the reply, Anders. However this will turn them on for all dimensions and I only want to show 1 as being in metric with all others in imperial. Like I said, I've managed to do it by simply adding a new dimension and then over-writing it, but I have to add the tolerances as a note.

Then this might be what you are looking for (or is this what you mean with a note?):

{0:mad:O}{1:50}{2:mad:+ 1 @#}{3:mad:- -5 @#}

This will display as 50 +1 -5 (but as upper- and lower-case)

Thanks Anders although I didn't know how to get the note to be upper and lower limits, (I added it as a 2 line note) but as the saying goes :-

"You learn something new every day!".

This solves the problem for the moment although what I would really like to do would be to dual dimension just the single dim, you dont know if this is possible or not do you ? then it would be a driven dim in case of future mods.
