display pattern quantity in note

I would like to display the number of pattern instances in a note. I know that the &P code will display the number, but i also want to type 'X' after the number. Unfortunately, Pro-E does not like the X directly after the number, but it will accept most other characters - how convenient! Is there a way to force Pro-E to accept the X as separate from the &P code without a space? I want to display this: "2X .593", not "2 X .593".

Try adding the X within braces with the form {1:X}.
