domed shell with eliptical base

I need to create a domed shell with an eliptical base (or preferably egg-shaped). The height of the dome would be small in relation to the elipse. The thickness is arbitrary, say 0.05.

For example:
Eliptical Base: major=10, minor=7
Height: 1
Thickness: 0.05

Can anyone help me with this?

TRY TO USE BOUNDRY BLEND, FIRST DRAW AN ELIPSE, THEN DRAW ON THE NORMAL PLANE OF ELIPSE CONIC ARC OR SPLINE THEN MAKE A BOUNDRY BLEND. IF U COULD NOT UNDERSTAND PLZ TELL ME I'LL SEND U THE PART.
