DRAWING KICKS OUT OF PRO E

When working with a drawing, I can move to the layer tree. certain layers will completely kick me out of proe whenI select them to hide . Any suggestions?


This is an assembly brought in as a step file . I have had to put everything on layers to create the drawings. Several assemblies inside of the main asembly.

Try to generate the step file again. there may be some error while creating step file.

When I am working with a drawing and I have a view selected so that I can turn on and off layers, some of the layers when I click on them just completely shut down pro e. They do it consistantly every time.

may be u can try this.


dont directly click on layer, you expand the layer and do necessary changes hide/unhide. then ur work is safe.

We are having the same issue. Click on a layer and you instantly get the Pro/Vanish module

. I called PTC for support on this, and was told to upgrade to the new build code of WF 3.0 (currently at M110, told to upgrade to M140). After asking twice (ignored the first time) I was given no explanation for why or how this happens.
I cant confirm there recommendation works or not as I am planning on testing that this week.

I am having the same problem with proe. I figured out how to work around that layer, but I'm wondering, did the upgrade to M140 work?
