I have recently learned how to make a drawing note that displays a value set up by a relation. For example I am displaying the part's calculated weight in a note on the drawing. The problem I am having is that it displays its' weight to the 3rd decimal. (32.001 lbs). I feel like an idiot sending that out to a shop because in no way do I expect a weight tolerance to be that tight, I am happy with +- 1lb not .001lb. I would like to leave the note to simply say 32lbs or 32.0, but I haven

add [.#] to your note where # is an integer that controls the number of decimal places

e.g &param[.2] , gives you the value with 2 decimals

That was exactly whatI needed to know, thanks.

How did you know that, "[.1]" is not exactly obvious. Is there is list somewhere of note text values? Thereare probably a lot of tricks like that onethat I am missing.

Seen the help menu in Pro/E?

Use help center, go into the Pro/Detail chapter and search for decimal places.
