Drawing parameter, title block

Hi.

We have a drawing revision shown on the title block. Now, this revision does not come from the part model. It's entered when the drawing is created. Now, I would like to change it from the Tools Parameter window. If I create the parameter after the drawing is created, I can do this just fine. I did create the parameter with the format file open and saved to the file.

But, when after drawing is created, the parameter does not show up. I see no parameter. If I have multiple sheet of drawings, I now have to go to each sheet and change the rev level instead of doing it all at once from the drawing parameter window.

Does anyone know how to do this?

Thank you.

If you have updated your format file, all you have to do is open up your drawing. Replace the existing format for each page with the new format. You do this by right-click on the screen and select "Page Setup". Select a page and re-select your new format. It will ask if you want to remove any of the old tables, pick YES. Unfortunelately, if you have any data in those tables that are not parameter driven, you will have to enter the text again.

This process can take some time to replace every sheet with the new format, but in the future, if the drawing revision increases, all you have to do is change the parameter within the model, and all sheets will update the revision automatically.
