Driven parameters

I used the Pro/TOOLKIT function to visit the parameters but i cann't find a function to determine whether the visited parameter is driving or driven, is there any way to find this out.

Hello Praveen,

I didn't get what does the meaning of Driving and Driven parameter. It can identify the parameter is Intralink or Pro-Engineer parameter. Can you give more details of your issue.

Actually i want to read the access status of a parameter. It can be Full, Limited or Locked. If a parameter is locked then i assume it to be a driven parameter.

Hi Praveen,

As per my knowledge is concern you could not able to find the value set for the parameterin the field "Access". API support for this feature is not availible with Pro-Toolkit for WF2.0.

Have you checked with PTC Tech Support regarding this?

I have not checked with PTC Tech Support but I refered w.f 3.0 protoolkit documentation, Functions for driven parametersare availble init. Will there be any way to do it with w.f 2.0 itself.

Hi Praveen,

I hope there is no other go in your hands to use Wf3.0 API's in WF2.0.You need user corresponding API's with resepective Toolkit lib's.Either you can suggest the users to have wf3.0 instead of wf2.0 for the application you buit.

With regards,

Kishore V
