dwg export layer status

Does anyone know how to force Pro/E to export the current layer display status when saving to dwg? Currently when I export to dwg, if a certain layer is hidden, Pro/E exports it as not hidden and the drawing items that were in that layer do not get exported at all. Right now our marketing department would like us to put some information on all of our drawings, but they want it hidden by default when they look at the dwg's.

It looks this option was added in WF4. There is a check box under the misc tab Export Blanked Layers. There is also a config.pro option intf2d_out_blanked_layers.
