edge colors during shading

sorry for the newbie question

I am using Wildfire 2.0

Is there a setting to allow me to choose the edge colors displayed during shade mode other than the default which is a slightly different shade than the part color?

Thanks!

Chris

no but there is a post about this i cannot find it thru the search tool

but what he did was colored his part orange then turned all surfaces red then turned edges on and it stands out nicely

View -> Display Settings -> Model Display, on the Shade tab there is a checkbox for With Edges. This will highlight the edges in a darker (or lighter) colour of the model.

If you set the model colour to black, and colour the surfaces differently, then you will achieve the effect you want.

Regards,

Actually, normally the color ProE will accept as the line thickness can be defined. It is simply the base color of the color you have chosen for the part. (View/ Color and Appearance) The highlight color and other factors greatly affect the look of the shade, but the line colors are the color in the top "box" of each different color!
