edit sketch setting

Hi all, apologies if this is the wrong place for this topic - new to SW forum.


I just need to know how to change a setting - I've just come back to SW after a 2 yrs out and cannot remember certain thinks!!


Basically, when i have created a sketch and have done an extrude, how do i not show the solid model underneath when i try and edit the sketch again.


I'm sure its a simple setting change.

In features toolbox, enable the INSTANT3D option.


After that you can preview solid model & also execute the extrude just by dragging the sketch.

Hide the parts or use the section view tool. or chang the transparency. or you could isolate the part. What ever works for you.
