I posted the Stretch option but didn't hear any responses. what method did you use eventually?
I basically followed the steps that other users did tocreate their helix.I extruded thesurface of the ellipse and superimposed the revolved surface for the helix over the extruded ellipse surface. Then I used the intersection curve of the two as the 3Dsketch path for the swept boss to create the elliptical helix.
Ibelieve I saw your other post and itsounds like it would be more accurate.I'm still using 2007 andthe helix I got using the steps above was visually all Ireally need. That was a good post though and I'll keep it for future reference.
