Equation curve: Notepad fails to open

Has anyone ever had a problem with trying to define a datum curvefrom equationand not being able to define the Equation becausewhen I click on 'Define', a DOS terminal window flashes onto screen for moment and then disappears too quickly for me to be able to read anything in it, and no notepad or anything is launchedfor me to enter equation definition into. How to fix this problem?

Found the problem:


Config.pro option "pro_editor_command" needed to be "C:\WINDOWS\system32\notepad.exe" for my XP OS.
