Excel BOM doesn’t show up in PDF

My company creates a bill of materialswith an Excel document. I insert them into my drawings and that works fine - until I need to give someone a PDF of the drawings. The inserted Excel document disappears.

Is there any way to make them show up in the PDF?

I have Acrobat 6.0, and I use the integrated PDF button within Wildfire 2.0.

This must be a printing issue where ProE conveys information to the PDF process. "Foreign" objects have their own routines to show themselves and print themselves. That's part of the OLE-thing. Just like when a session of Excel is opened when you edit the sheet.

Different ways of creating the PDF may have different results. "Save as PDF" in a program puts most processing in the soft having this command. Printing to a PDF-printer (like when Acrobat Distiller is installed) puts the processing through the Windows print processor. If you can succesfully print your embedded excel sheets to a normal printer, then printing to a PDF-printer might work equally well.

Dear Friend,

To resolve this issue please do this...

Take print command from the proe, set the default setting only remeber the sheet size of the drawing, system shows printer dialog window. from that windows please sellect the Acrobat 6.0 as a printer set the printing sheet size same as drawing sheet sizethrough Acrobat 6.0 and print the PDF file at yourpreferable location.
