i'd like to use j-link to write certain proe parametes into a text file.

a sample java script would be a great help!

Hi Samoth,

Are you using J-link in Pro-Engineer Customization? You can go ahead and wirte code accordingly.Your problem is not clear? You woud like to parametes collected in pirtuclar model and then write into the text file? Is it same what exactly you need or....?

It is not a big task if you familiar with J-Link....I am more involved in Pro-Toolkit, the same can be done with this as well.

Why do you require the parameters of the model into the text file?

i'd like to have the values of certain user defined parameters like (drawn_by or project_name etc.) to be written into a plain text file so that i can insert those values into a different file using SED.

thanx again,

samoth
