We upgraded from 2001 to WF2 about a month ago. Never noticed this particular problem, as 2001 did not have component interface. I set up 4 component interfaces, one for each screw type, in our generic model. When assembling a screw yesterday Idiscovered there was an error on two of the comp interfaces. After investigating I found the following: Family table is for all Pan, Flat, Oval and Truss head screws. Datum planes are created in generic model. Plane1 is surface as shown:

Plane #9 is on Flat Head as shown:

Datum Plane 9 shows up under the layers, but it not showing up under model tree or on the actual screw. It does show up in the generic model and model tree, as it was created in the generic model. Family table has been updated with dtm plane 9 input on table and is set to yes. Saved generic and clicked 'verify now' when prompted. Closed out of WF2 completely, opened it back up, opened a screw # (not generic) and the datum plane 9 still does not show up.
There are two of us trying to figure out. We have tried this several times. We have even tried to add a new datum plane and input it into the family table but still get the same result. It seems as though the family table is not updating with WF2. ??I really do not want to go through each individual screw to add a datum plane and then set up the component interface as we have 253 screws in this family table. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated!!
Thanks!
Michelle
